| This line of skin care formulations includes non-prescription skin care products. All are pharmaceutical grade formulations (made with the same rigorous standards as prescription medications) and are available only through dermatologists and other skin care specialists. Specific products are selected for an individual's daily regimen after an assessment of the skin type, nature of skin problems and other skin treatments being used. The MD Forte Skin Care line includes cleansers, lotions, creams, masque and sunblock. The active ingredients in these formulations include one or more of the following: glycolic acid in various strengths (up to 30%), salicylic acid, lactic acid, retinol, vitamin E, etc. The sunblock features a 7.8 % micronized zinc oxide which goes on clear on most skin types and can be worn under make-up and provides the well-known enhanced protection of zinc oxide. Using such topicals with effective ingredients, either alone or combined with other treatments for skin rejuvenation, is an important part of daily skin care. |
